ANICongress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has asked UUP Congress leaders to furnish a list of possible candidates for the 2022 assembly election.
According to senior leaders in the party in UP, Gandhi Vadra is calling up the party’s district presidents and asking about possible candidates who can be fielded in the polls next year. Office-bearers of the party in the state are also being asked to submit details. Those who were backed by the party for the zila panchayat elections and performed well have a higher chance of being shortlisted, said a senior leader.
