International Combustion (India) temporarily suspends operations in West Bengal amid Covid lockdown

The Registered-cum-Corporate Office of the Company has also been observing physical lockdown.

International Combustion (India) has informed that, due to the mandatory lockdown imposed by the Government of West Bengal for containment of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the operations at the Heavy Engineering Division manufacturing plant of the Company situated at Baidyabati, District Hooghly, West Bengal, have been temporarily suspended with effect from 16th May, 2021

The Registered-cum-Corporate Office of the Company situated at Kolkata, West Bengal, has also been observing physical lockdown and work-from-home with effect from May 17, 2021 due to the aforementioned reason.

The impact of the aforementioned temporary suspension of operations at the Baidyabati plant cannot be quantified at the moment. However, the same is not expected to be substantial on the business of the Company.

At around 9:38 AM, International Combustion (India) was trading at Rs229.70 per piece down by Rs9.40 or 3.93% on Dalal Street.
