Turkish cotton production to increase, imports to drop: TexPro

The production of cotton in Turkey is likely to increase in marketing year (MY) 2021-22, while the imports are expected to drop compared to the previous year. Cotton production is projected to increase due to favourable prices and weather conditions. Also, precipitation in the spring at the right time will help cotton producers to boost their production.
