Expand collaboration to develop Nakrekal as a model town: municipal chairman

Nalgonda: Konda Srinivas Gold, municipal chair of Nakrekal, said on Monday that sanitation and cleanliness will enjoy the highest priority as part of the development of Nakrekal into a model congregation.

Gold, accompanied by the municipal commissioner Balaji, visited the 14th ward in the municipality and talked to the people to get to know the problems in their area. He also ensured that issues regarding public drainage and drinking water that brought the people to his attention would be resolved. He asked the people to bring issues in their wards to his attention.

He said public toilets will be built in select locations in the city for the convenience of the people who visit the town from surrounding villages for shopping and other works. He also sought the cooperation of the people to develop it as a model city, which according to him was the dream of Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah.
