Corona claims 48 lives, 1491 new positive cases in Bihar

Patna, May 29 (UNI) A total of 1491 fresh Corona positive cases were detected while 48 people lost their lives due to Covid-19 infections in Bihar in last 24 hours.
According to a release of state health department, 82,468 tests were done in last 24 hours and 1491 of them were found positive. A total of 5168 Corona patients also recovered from the illness during the same period.
The positivity rate has reduced to 1.80 percent while recovery rate increased to 96.29 percent. Before lockdown was enforced on May 5, positivity rate was 15.57 percent while recovery rate was 78.38 percent. A total of 4, 893 people in Bihar have lost their lives due to Corona infections.
