Sardarpur (Dear district, Madhya Pradesh): The vaccination of 18 plus people has begun in Sardarpur, Rajgarh, Amjhera, Dasai from May 27 without prior registration and slot booking. The people are being vaccinated on the basis of Aadhaar card. As a result, a large number of people can be seen at vaccination centres in Sardarpur tehsil.
Though vaccination for people above 18 years of age began from May 5, villagers faced difficulties as registration was to be done on mobile phones where slots were also to be booked.
As many of them didn’t have smart phones, they couldn’t book their turn. There were others who have mobile phones but didn’t know how to book. This disappointed them as they were not able to get themselves vaccinated. All these reasons were mentioned prominently by Free Press in the edition of May 13, 2021.
As a result, the problem has been solved and people are now getting vaccinated without hassle.
