Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Karamchari Congress- body of state government employees- has demanded that ‘impractical’ conditions should be removed from the CM Covid welfare schemes.
The welfare schemes announced by the CM have put in such conditions that they will hardly benefit the victims, said the patron of the Karamchari Congress, Virendra Khongal.
There is a condition for appointment on compassionate grounds which states that any member from the family of deceased should not be from the government service, he elaborated.
Moreover, if the family of the deceased has received Rs 50 lakh under Corona Warrior scheme, then he/she too remains ineligible for appointment on compassionate ground. Similarly there are certain other conditions as well they add to the rules of reservation and make several ineligible for appointment, he added.
State president of MP Karamchari Congress Sunil Thakre said that they have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister and has urged him to take corrective measures in the rules so that people really benefit from the schemes.
