Nagaland records 192 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, May 30 (UNI) Nagaland on Sunday recorded 192 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, which increased the total number of cases in the state to 21,563.

Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom informed on Sunday that among the 192 fresh cases, the highest 80 were recorded in Dimapur, followed by 33 in Kohima, 33 in Mokokchung, 12 in Zunheboto, 11 in Mon, seven in Phek, six in Wokha, three in Kiphire, three in Peren, three in Tuensang and one in Longleng.

Regarding recoveries, a total of 109 more COVID positive patients recovered in Nagaland on Sunday, which included 77 in Dimapur, 17 in Phek, 10 in Kohima, three in Kiphire, one in Mokokchung and one Mon, Mr Phom said.
With these the total number of cases has now reached 21,563, of which the active cases are 501, 523 people have recovered and the COVID related death toll rose to 350 in the state.
