KKSDDA demands immediate action against FPS rationing agent & nominee

, May 28 2021: The Kasom Khullen Sub-division Development Association (KKSDDA), in a statement urged the Deputy Commissioner, Kamjong District to take up necessary action against the FPS rationing agent and FPS Nominee in respect of 43(ST) Phungyar AC for non distribution of food grains, for the month of April 2021 to the NFSA card holders.

KKSDDA stated that the allocated food grains, a total quantity of 2098.32 Quintals have already.been lifted on March 26 & 27 from the FCS godown Ukhrul.

The committee had already approached and enquired about the same to the concerned authority and the FPS agent but to no avail, it added.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the Statewide lockdown hitting hard on the people, it is unfair that the NFSA food grains for the Month of April is kept pending till date, it added.

The Kasom Khullen Sub-division Development Association further appealed to the DC Kamjong to take up immediate action to distribute the said food grains allocated to the people within the first week of June.
