Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ launched

The new Oppo Reno 6 smartphones offer 90Hz displays, 65W fast charging, and up to 12GB of RAM.

Oppo Reno 6 series is official, and it features three phones in total. Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+ have been launched in China. The new Oppo phones come with 90Hz displays, 64-megapixel triple cameras, up to 12GB of RAM and 65W fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 6 starts at CNY 2,799 ( 31,800 approx) for the base model. The Reno 6 Pro has a starting price tag of CNY 3,499 ( 39,800 approx). The most premium in the series, Reno 6 Pro+ costs CNY 3,999 ( 45,500 approx) for the basse model. All three phones can be pre-ordered in China now. Oppo hasn’t announced when it plans to launch the Reno 6 series in other markets but it’s said to come in India this July, according to a report by TechRadar.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro

Oppo Reno 6 Pro carries the same design language as the Reno 5 Pro with a slim body and curved display. The colour options are the same as the Reno 6. It has a slightly bigger 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood of the phone runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 processor. The smartphone has the same cameras as the Reno 6 but with an additional black and white 2-megapixel sensor at the rear. It also packs a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 6 Pro+

Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ offers the most high-end specifications out of the three but with a few similarities to the Reno 6 Pro. You get the same display, front camera and battery on the Reno 6 Pro+. The main difference lies in the processor and rear cameras. You get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor on the Reno 6 Pro+. Its quad-camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
