Port Arthur PD released the identity of the 32-year-old man who was shot and killed outside of the Avery Trace Apartments in Port Arthur on Thursday. Police identified the victim as Steve Allen Summerville, a news release stated.

A man died on Thursday after being shot multiple times at a Port Arthur apartment complex, according to a Port Arthur PD news release.
Port Arthur PD arrived to the 4000 block of Highway 365 after receiving the report of a shooting outside of the Avery Trace Apartments. Officers arrived to the scene and located a male subject who sustained several gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died of the gunshot wounds. Port Arthur PD will release the victim’s identity at a later date and time. No suspects or leads were released by Port Arthur PD.
