Thane: Jilted lover sent to remand home for injuring minor girl

ULHASNAGAR: A minor jilted lover boy has been sent into remand home for allegedly seriously injuring a minor girl by attacking with a knife in Ulhasnagar.
The accused is 17-year-old studying in a college and the girl is 16-year-old, an SSC student.
Police said both stay in the same area in Ulhasnagar. They were in love for the last two years but recently the girl broke up with the accused boy which had upset him.
Police said on Thursday night, victim was passing from her area when the accused saw her alone. He stabbed her several times using a small knife making her seriously injured. The girl is undergoing treatment at Central hospital in Ulhasnagar where her treatment is on.
A senior police official from Ulhasnagar police station said, “After registering an FIR our team on Friday morning nabbed minor boy and sent him into Bhiwandi remand home as he is minor”.
