Haryana Government Extend the Summer Vacations of Schools till June 15

 

Chandigarh, May 28: Haryana Government has decided to extend the summer vacations of schools till June 15, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, students will remain on holiday till June 15, while teachers and other non-academic staff will have to come to school in a 50 percent ratio from June 1.

Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that a roster will be made by the head of the schools to ensure 50 percent attendance of teachers and other non-academic staff. During this time, the school hours will be from 9 am to 12 pm. The head and in-charge of all schools will ensure attendance according to the roster of teachers and other non-academic staff in the schools falling under their jurisdiction.

The school staff will have to follow the instructions issued on April 30 with regard to Covid-19.

It is worth noting that earlier on April 22, all government and private schools in the state had announced summer holidays till May 31.
