Prakash Bhoyar proposes Human Milk Bank for newborn babies

NAGPUR: With increasing demand for breast milk for newborns, whose mothers are either infected or have died due to Covid, Mother Milk Bank seems the only option, stated standing committee chairman Prakash Bhoyar while reading his budget speech here on Friday.
In the pandemic, parents of many newborn babies faced hardship to feed their wards, he said. "If the city had human milk bank, this could have helped many affected newborns," he said.
He proposed of NMC creating "Human Milk Bank" for newborn babies.
