Embassy Group donated 4,500 face shields and 8,000 reusable gloves, costing Rs 15 lakh, to traffic police personnel of the Bengaluru City Police.
The protective equipment was handed over to Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraja Bommaih at the Town Hall in Bengaluru.
The shields and gloves will be distributed to 44 police stations and 3,800 personnel, said a press release issued by the Embassy Group.
BR Ravikanthe Gowda, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Bengaluru, said, “On behalf of the Bengaluru Traffic police, we are continually grateful for the unceasing support from Embassy Group over the last year.”
