Surbhi Jyoti, born on 29 May, is an actress who appears in Hindi television.
She was born in Jalandhar, Punjab. During her schooling days, she participated in debates and received honours. She later received a Master of Arts degree in English from Apeejay College of Fine Arts.
She started her career in regional theatre and films. Surbhi has also been a radio jockey. She worked in Punjabi films like Ik Kudi Punjab Di, Raula Pai Gaya and Munde Patiala De. She is popularly known for her portrayal of Zoya Farooqui in Qubool Hai and Bela Sehgal in Naagin 3.
