Hyderabad: A Methodist school in Hyderabad has been converted into a 50 bed Covid-19 isolation center to help those who have tested positive and do not have the necessary facilities to quarantine themselves.
This center, established at Methodist Boys High School in Hyderabad, aims to provide the best medication and nutrition to the patients.
Steven, pastor of the Centenary Methodist Church, told ANI: ‘To help the needy get better treatment and isolation, we turned this Methodist School into an isolation center and cared for our people who tested positive. The service offered here is completely free. ”
He further said that the isolation center is for symptomatic and asymptomatic COVID-19 patients.
He also said the center has oxygen cylinders and concentrators to help people with oxygen supply.
‘In case of emergency the patient would be immediately transferred to the right place COVID-19 hospitals, ”he added.
He further mentions that if the need arises, the number of beds will be increased according to the requirement with all the necessary facilities.
Joseph Benjamin, the physician at the Methodist Isolation Center, told ANI that it helps people by providing proper quarantine facilities.
“This isolation center is therefore for those who cannot afford to stay at home after testing positive,” he said.
He further said that they help the poor with groceries during the lock up and that they also provide kits to help those who are quarantined at home.
Meanwhile, Telangana reported 3,614 new Covid-19 cases, 3,961 dismissals and 18 deaths, according to the state health bulletin yesterday.
The state is currently locked up until May 30 to prevent the increase. Covid-19 incidents.
