My current one is a 8 years old FHD 60Hz Dell.

GPU: I have a 1070 FE.

144hz 1440p is my target.
HDR support would be awesome too.
FreeSync /G-Sync preferred. I think 1070 supports both.

Can do with even less than 144hz. (Modern games won't even run at this FPS)

But my budget is not that flexible. Would love to have something under 15K. Max stretch 20K. max 22K??

144hz / 1440p or at least one of these. Any difference in 120hz vs 140hz ? is above 100hz ok/acceptable trade off?

Regarding VESA mounts. I am not sure. My current one doesn't have em. And I don't have any plans. So at most, a good to have feature.

### Any recommendations?

Size: Anything aabove or at 21 inch would do.

I was looking at these two FHD Displays:

I think the adjustable height is the only difference.

There was a deal on Acer XV272U monitor for under 20k last month. If you can wait you can get that for 24k normal price+ any Bank discounts when it comes in stock from appario seller in Amazon. It's a great panel and provides best value at that price. Only thing is some get bad panel with dead pixels. I guess many have bought it during that sale in this forum too so you can ask around for their reviews. I'm attaching monitor and review links if you're interested.

This looks great for under 20K. I will probably wait for a deal.

how would this compare to it?

Delivered Yet? BenQ EX2510 looks awesome. I was hoping for 1440p. But at 24inch, 1080p is good.

27 inch 1080p (~ 88 pixel density) for 22K outs me off.

Thank you all for your suggestion.

I went for the Cheapest decent option for now. Samsung LF24T350FHWXXL 75hz

I hope the 25% more frame rate keeps me happy till I upgrade to 1440p 144hz.

I dug up my current monitor specs too: https://www.dell.com/ae/p/peripherals/dell-s2240l/pd

Don't know what price it is available at now but I got the LG 32GK650F for 20.3k earlier in the year. Realised that my pre-conceived notions about pixel density and size were unfounded. A lot of people just put up comments based on other's comments but real-life usage is something different.

I have a RTX 2060, so not as if I am going to hit the FPS for newer games but it is easy to do so at 2K for most games older than 4 years which is a treat. Even newer games like Hitman 3 runs at close to 80 FPS at 2K on High, so limiting monitor specs because of current hardware specs often makes little sense.
