Bangladesh sheds mobile phone, internet customers in April

Bangladesh ended April with 174.1 million mobile phone subscribers, down from 174.6 million in March, according to data from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). Grameenphone's customer base fell to 80.51 million in April from 80.75 million in March, while Robi Axiata ended April with 51.65 million, down from 51.94 million the previous month. Banglalink had 36.19 million mobile customers, down from 36.25 million, while Teletalk ended April with 5.75 million mobile customers, up from 5.69 million in March.
