Covid-19: 2,599 new cases detected in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, May 26 (UNI) As many as 2,599 fresh Covid-19 patients and 45 deaths were reported in a single day today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 1,03,294 and the toll to 3,493, respectively.
On the other hand, 1,622 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking overall count of recoveries to 85,612.
There are now 14,189 active cases in the district, an official report said.
