MTN Ghana aims to reach 25% local ownership by year-end

MTN Ghana plans to increase local ownership in the company to 25 percent by the close of this year from 16.9 percent currently, NewsGhana reported. CEO Selorm Adadevoh told the virtual Annual General Meeting that the MTN Group is committed to its agreement with the government to increase other shareholdings in Scancom to 25 percent, with a focus on local shareholding.
