Ranchi, May 27 (UNI) The High Court has expressed its dissatisfaction over the ongoing probe in the state in connection with the black marketing of Redmesivir and other life-saving medicines in the state.
The High Court directed the ADG of the CID to appear before it in the next hearing and detail the progress in the probe. While hearing the different PILs which have been filed in the court the bench of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice SN Prasad issued an order in this regard.
The court commented that attempts are being made to save someone in the case. The government on its part said that in the connection of black marketing one Rajeev Singh has been forwarded to jail while the statement of a Hospital operator and a medicine shop owner has been also recorded. The hearing in the case was on and whosoever will be found guilty action will be taken against them.
Over the role of Rural SP, the Advocate general said that at that time people were running after Redmesivir and other medicines and the Rural SP had only helped a needy person. He said that in this connection the statement of bodyguard and driver of the SP has been recorded.
However, the court said that it was not satisfied with the report and asked the ADG of the CID to appear before it.
