/R E P E A T -- Media advisory - Minister Champagne to announce funding to support clean technologies developed by Canadian companies/

OTTAWA, ON, May 26, 2021 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will join in a virtual roundtable discussion with Canadian cleantech CEOs and entrepreneurs receiving funding from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) for innovative projects that will help drive the growth of Canada's green economy. The Minister will highlight forward-looking investments in clean technology that are transforming Canadian industry while advancing economic and environmental prosperity.

Minister Champagne will be joined by Saber Miresmailli, co-founder and CEO of Ecoation Innovative Solutions; Louis Brun, co-founder and CEO of Sollum Technologies; David Yeaman, president and owner of Molded Precision Components; Nuha Siddiqui, co-founder and CEO of Erthos; and Annette Verschuren, Chair of SDTC's Board of Directors. These Canadian cleantech leaders will discuss innovative solutions to environmental challenges, including agriculture and plastic manufacturing, as well as successes in bringing ground-breaking technologies to market with support from SDTC. The discussion will be moderated by Leah Lawrence, SDTC's President and CEO.
