St. Clair County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 34% of people fully vaccinated
St. Clair County has administered more than 110,259 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, as of May 24, according to data from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
That's up 4% from the previous week's tally of 106,014 COVID-19 doses administered.
In St. Clair County, 34% of people living in St. Clair County are fully vaccinated as of May 24. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).
Michigan reported 987,974 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.93% from the week before.
The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Michigan as of May 24 are Leelanau County (58%), Grand Traverse County (51%), Emmet County (50%), Benzie County (49%) and Washtenaw County (48%).
