Kia India has rolled out a unique ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ for the buyers of its MPV – the Kia Carnival. Under the new offer, customers buying the Carnival can return the car within 30 days of its purchase. The offer is valid on all the variants of the Carnival.
The new one-of-its-kind offer allows the customers to return the vehicle within 30 days of its purchase. Kia will cover 95% of the ex-showroom and the overhead cost incurred for the registration and finances, and other related costs of the vehicle.
There are a few things that the customers will need to take care of though. Customers need to ensure that the vehicle has not run more than 1,500 km from the date of purchase. Customers will also need to ensure that the vehicle is free of any kind of damage, pending claims, to be able to return the carnival. The owner will also need to transfer the documents of the vehicle including the agreements with the banks and NOC should be submitted from the financer’s end.
Speaking on the industry-first initiative, Mr. Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director & CSBO, Kia India, said,
“Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services, and their experiences with the brand. The ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers, prioritizing their peace of mind during these testing times. The growing popularity of our class-leading MPV has been extremely encouraging for us and this initiative aims to enhance customer belief in Kia Carnival even further.”
The Kia Carnival is the most expensive vehicle from the South Korean manufacturer. It is a luxury MPV with various seating configurations.
Kia Carnival
Kia launched the Carnival in the Indian market last year at the 2020 Auto Expo. It has remained a popular choice for many. The Carnival sits between the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Toyota Alphard in the market and it does not compete with any other vehicle in the segment. Until now, Kia has sold more than 6,200 units of the Carnival, signalling a decent interest in the vehicle.
Kia has launched the next-generation Carnival in the international markets. Even though Kia India is yet to officially announce the arrival of the all-new Carnival in the Indian market, several reports claim that the new Carnival should arrive in the Indian market later this year.
Currently, Kia offers Sonet, Seltos and Carnival in the market. The brand only plans to focus on the MPVs and SUVs in the Indian market. Kia is also planning to launch an all-new MPV based on the Seltos platform. It will be a similar version of what the Hyundai Alcazar is to the Creta in the Indian market. Codenamed as KY, the all-new MPV is also likely to be launched by the end of this year or early next year.
