Chennai Port, one of the leading major ports under the administrative control of Union Government and located in Chennai, on 22 May created yet another milestone in spite of the ravaging pandemic with its container Vessel M V CMA CGM BERLIOZ, berthed at Chennai International Terminal Pvt. Ltd (operated by PSA international)., handling 8819 TEUS comprising of 4645 import TEUs and 4174 export TEUs. This handling surpasses the previous record of 8397 TEUs handled by mv APL ENGLAND created on 08 December 2020.
Chennai Port Chairman Shri Sunil Paliwal, I.A.S, and Deputy Chairman Shri S. Balaji Arunkumar, I.R.T.S, greeted the workers and management of Chennai International Terminal Pvt. Ltd (operated by PSA international) as well as the Officials and workforce of Chennai Port for the milestone and wished more such achievements in future also.
