Five months after leaving Little Mix, Jesy Nelson has secured herself a solo record deal.
The 29-year-old signed to Polydor Records, and according to an Instagram post, cannot wait for fans to hear what she's been working on.
"This is such a pinch-me moment," the singer said, excited to release her debut solo album later this year.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan in early May, Jesy revealed her reasons for quitting the popular girl group, saying she reached her breaking point while filming the Sweet Melody music video.
Jesy announced her departure from Little Mix in December 2020, taking time to focus on her mental well-being after years of public scrutiny directed at her weight.
