The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for agents.

As a part of that effort, the Houston field office will conduct a Diversity Agent Recruiting virtual information session for special agent candidates from 4 to 6 p.m. on June 22.

The event is for people interested in becoming FBI special agents and is “geared towards individuals with diverse ethnic, educational and professional background experiences,” according to a news release from the agency.

Attendees can talk to special agents working in a variety of specialties, including violent crime, cybercrime and counterterrorism. Attendees also will hear from physical fitness advisors, applicant coordinators and recruiters.

The DAR is invite-only and those interested in attending must apply through www.fbijobs.gov, select “Apply to Jobs” and search for “DAR Houston Talent Network.”

Applicants must be a United States citizen, between 23 and 36 years old, have at least a bachelor’s degree from a U.S.-accredited college or university and have at least two years of full-time professional work experience or one year with an advanced degree. Additional requirements apply.
