Saweetie and Gwen Stefani brought down the house for last night’s season finale of “The Voice.”
Performing the remix of “Slow Clap,” the duo hit the stage in ensembles that demonstrated their unique tastes. Saweetie herself opted for an iced-out blue look, matching a trending bustier top to rhinestone-coated, low-rise sweats. Her outfit also included a layered sweatshirt with a dramatic train to tout.
The bold number taps into this season’s newfound appreciation for corseted silhouettes and bustier designs, spotted on everyone from Kylie Jenner and Beyoncé to Hailey Baldwin and Rosalía in the past few weeks alone.
When it came down to footwear, the “Tap In” musician broke out a meaningful set of sneakers from stylist and model Aleali May and Jordan Brand. Serving as the first woman with a Jordan Brand women’s footwear and apparel collaboration, May’s sneakers represent a breakthrough in the sneaker world. Saweetie’s pick, in particular, is the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort that debuted just last month; the blue and green design pulls inspiration from May’s ability to conquer shyness while on the Inglewood High School drill team in California.
“We have the royal blue on the shoe, and that is a representation of the colors from my elementary school, and then we have this pine green, which is Inglewood High’s color. I wanted to show that story of here I am, a young girl, soaking everything in like a sponge, enjoying every day being around this group of girls and we’re all uplifting each other,” May told FN in April.
While the sneakers originally sold for $140, they now resell for upwards of $174 to $493 at StockX.

As for Saweetie herself, the “My Type” rapper’s style repertoire includes everything from sleek designer gowns to trendy oversize T-shirt styles with must-have sneakers. As for personal taste, you can find the star in even more pieces from Christian Louboutin as well as from Brandon Maxwell, Hermès and more top brands.
Saweetie’s fashion experience extends beyond stylish red carpet ensembles, chic off-duty outfits and on-screen looks since she even has experience with showing looks at New York Fashion Week. The Californian native debuted her first collaboration with PrettyLittleThing at NYFW spring ’20, bringing out a star-studded crowd including Nicky and Paris Hilton, Ashanti and more. Most recently, Saweetie joined forces with the brand for her third capsule filled with winter-ready pieces as well as worked with Australian eyewear brand Quay for a drop of summer-chic shades.
