Chittarajan Das, a resident of Hatigaon area passed away on May 23 due to Covid-19. He did his post-graduation in Agriculture from NEHU but was very much enthusiastic in entrepreneurship and ran a centre, the New Brahmaputra driving and training centre.

He trained more than one thousand youth of his locality. He was an expert in the agricultural sector in various firms and had given more importance to organic farming.

He leaves behind his wife, two sons and host of relatives.
