WWE News: WWE Raw commentator Adnan Virk has already left the company

WWE News: WWE announced on Tuesday that Adnan Virk- the announcer on Monday Night Raw, has departed from the company. The announcement was made by WWE on their official Twitter handle that the two have mutually parted ways without any disagreement.

Virk had signed a multi-year deal with the company to serve as a commentator or Monday Night Raw last month after Samoa Joe got released from the company. His short tenure saw him working for only seven episodes of Raw and one pay-per-view, i.e., Wrestlemania Backlash.

Virk quoted a special message on his departure!

After his departure, Virk took to his official Twitter handle and expressed his gratitude for working with the company. He wrote,

“Thanks to @WWE for a wonderful opportunity. The weekly travel along with my other jobs was a grind for me and my family. Am grateful to everyone with the company, especially @WWEGraves and @ByronSaxton for being such fantastic teammates.”

Here’s the post,

No prior experience in pro wrestling

Before getting hired for WWE, Virk didn’t have any prior experience of commentating in pro wrestling. He was brought into the company courtesy of WWE President Nick Khan. Initially, the experience didn’t pan out for Virk as he was struggling to find his mojo. He tried to learn each day, but getting criticized in front of millions was tough for him.

No official announcement on Virk’s replacement as of yet

WWE is yet to announce a replacement for Virk. The recent commentary on Raw this past week saw Corey Graves and Byron Saxton working on Raw, while Pat McAfee and Michael Cole continued their run on Friday Night Smackdown. In the weeks ahead, we might see a new face as the replacement for Adnan Virk joining the WWE Raw commentary panel alongside Corey Graves and Byron Saxton.
