Matthew Perry Sells Wave Of 'Friends' Merchandise Ahead of Reunion

With Friends fans counting down the days until the highly-anticipated reunion hits screens, Matthew Perry appears keen to strike while the proverbial iron is hot.

In recent days, the Massachusetts-born actor, 51, has taken to Instagram to share snapshots of himself posing in Friends-themed merchandise, which he's selling on a personalized website.

And on Monday, nostalgia collided with current events, when he showed himself donning a T-shirt emblazoned with the words: "Could I BE any more vaccinated?"

Marrying his beloved character Chandler Bing's oft-uttered catchphrase with the COVID-19 pandemic, the star has made it clear that he wants his 7.5 million Instagram followers to be both on-trend and inoculated.

Captioning the image, which showed him giving the thumbs up as he clutched a pool cue, the actor wrote: "Could I BE Any More Vaccinated? Get your shot and then get your shirt."

Further iterations of Chandler's favored term have been added to other fashion items, including hoodies, sweaters, infant onesies, and dog bandannas.

The limited edition garments, boasting words spelled out in the same font as seen during Friends' opening sequence, have caught the eye of style-conscious soccer icon David Beckham, who has gleefully posed in a hoodie on his Instagram account.

Perry's foray into the world of apparel comes as he's set to be seen reuniting with his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc on Friends: The Reunion on Thursday.

Shot in April, the special will see the stars looking back on their decade-long run on the phenomenally successful NBC sitcom, which aired between 1994 and 2004.

Last week, a teaser from the retrospective saw Perry getting emotional as his onscreen wife Cox (Monica Geller) reminisced about their "incredible" time on Friends.

Cox, 56, said as they sat together: "It was an incredible time. We became best friends," prompting a teary-eyed Perry to admit: "Yep, I'm going to cry now."

After being comforted by Aniston, Perry also raised laughs when he confessed to lifting an item from the set as the show reached its conclusion some 16 years ago.

When the star was asked if he had ever stolen anything from the famed soundstage in Burbank, California, he admitted: "I stole the cookie jar that had the clock on it."

While Friends: The Reunion will provide a trip down memory lane for viewers, it will also include a slew of special guest stars.

Among those are Lady Gaga, Cindy Crawford, Justin Bieber, BTS, and Cara Delevingne, as well as returning cast members.

Friends: The Reunion will air on HBO Max on May 27.
