Vacant education faculty posts at the OU will be filled soon

Hyderabad: Most of the newly appointed VCs of the ten state universities have taken their lead. They plan to put in place measures to improve the administrative and teaching standards of the universities under their supervision.

Emphasis is placed on research and development and the introduction of new courses.

The state government allowed the VCs to fill 1,061 teaching positions in 11 universities, including 415 vacancies at Osmania University – 294 ASST professors and 121 associate professor cadres. However, there is currently no vacancy available for the professor at the university.

The new Vice-Chancellor of the OU Prof D Ravinder Yadav, who has extensive experience in teaching and administration, plans to implement a 21-point program to raise the standard of the university.

“The infrastructure and hospital facilities will be improved,” Prof Yadav said. ‘There is a proposal to set up a separate committee for each department. Approval for the committee’s recommendations will be obtained from the Executive Council. ”

Prof Yadav said he would strive for the overall development of the university. “Appointments to vacant faculty posts are made on a preferential basis. All deserving faculty members whose promotion has not been available for two years are being promoted. ”

Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, prof. Nalgonda, Prof Gopal Reddy, took the lead on his new post. He said the state government has allowed the vacancies in the faculty to be filled. In light of the Corona pandemic, emphasis will be placed on online classes.

The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Telugu University, Prof T Kishan Rao, stated during the leadership of his office that he would receive suggestions from the staff to solve the problems facing the University. The university has a shortage of teaching staff. Priority will be given to moving the current University Campus to the new one.

Similarly, Prof K Sitarama Rao took the lead as Vice-Chancellor of dr. BR Ambedkar Open University.
