Vimeo begins trading as standalone company today

IAC/InterActiveCorp.'s IAC, -4.85% spin-off of video-software company Vimeo is now complete, according to a release, and Vimeo begins trading as a standalone public company this morning. Per the terms of the spin, IAC shareholders received 1.6235 shares of Vimeo for each IAC share that they owned, with that distribution taking place after the close of business Monday. Vimeo is the 11th company to come public out of IAC and will start trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker VMEO. Vimeo grew revenue 57% to $89.4 million in its latest quarter.
