Samsung is reportedly having a new phone to introduce in its M-series this year. A report has surfaced that claims to reveal some key specifications, colors, and estimated price of the smartphone.
According to GalaxyClub that claims to have information regarding the device states the rumored Galaxy M22 will launch in Europe as well for around EUR 230. It will be offered in Black, Blue, and White color options.
Furthermore, the report points out the Samsung Galaxy M22 carries the model number SM-M225FV and it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor. Also, it may come with 4GB RAM and feature a 48MP primary sensor. It is unknown how many cameras does it carry on its rear panel.
Moving on, the Galaxy M22 is said to be carrying a 13MP front camera and a massive 6,000mAh battery. The report further points out that just like the Galaxy M21 shares some similarities to the Galaxy M31, the Galaxy M22 may also share similarities with the Galaxy M32, an unannounced device. The report also claimed the Galaxy M22 has a 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED display with a U-shaped notch cutout.
The device is believed to be the rebranded version of the Galaxy A22, which is also an upcoming phone from the company. So, if that is the case, we do have some idea of how it may end up looking like. This is because some renders of the Galaxy A22 have leaked in the past that reveal the complete look of the device. And, if the Galaxy M22 is a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22, it is fair to assume that the former will look close to or even the same as the latter.
The Galaxy M22 bearing the same model number has also been spotted on Geekbench. The listing confirms the Galaxy M22 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 processor and has 4GB RAM and boots Android 11.
