After the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the show has developed an even deeper connect with the fans of Ankita Lokhande and the late actor. And now, a digital version of the show is in the making. Ankita will make a comeback as Archana, while the male actor is yet to be finalised. There are rumours of Manit Joura being the main protagonist. One of the key characters of Pavitra Rishta was Usha Nadkarni as Savita Tai.

However, the buzz suggests that Usha Nadkarni is not going to be a part of the reprised version. Confirming the reports, Usha Nadkarni says, “Because of the Covid scare, my family doesn’t let me step out of the house. I am old, and have diabetes too.” The veteran actress shared a strong bond with SSR. She has always spoken about how he was a happy young man whenever he was with them. In fact, Usha was left in tears as she paid a tribute to SSR at the Zee Rishtey Awards. With SSR’s demise and now Usha moving out of the revised version of Pavitra Rishta, fans seem to be disappointed.
