Plintron inks MVNA deal with Mexico's Altan Redes

Plintron said it has secured an MVNO licence from Mexican telecommunications regulator IFT and reached a wholesale deal with the Altan Redes consortium to launch Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA) services on the country's 4.5G shared network (Red Compartida). Citing data indicating that the country now was 31 MVNOs, Plintron said it expects the market to grow at a CAGR of at least 12.5 percent in the coming years.
