The fact that the US Federal Reserve has allayed investor concerns about increasing interest rates as a result of inflation could boost risk appetite in the coming days. This has the potential to push Bitcoin over the $40,000 barrier. By 10.48 am Ethereum had gained the most of all cryptocurrencies, increasing over 20%. Despite the dramatic increase, it has dropped by nearly half since its height earlier this month.
