Prieto's previous position was Asia Pacific head of channel.

Before joining SolarWinds in 2020, he held sales vice president positions at Micron Technology, Dell EMC and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Prieto previously worked as Asia Pacific director of consulting services at Brocade and at Dell, as ANZ manager of advanced systems group sales at Dell, and as director of enterprise services at Sonnet Australia.

He started his career as a systems engineer at Memorex Telex and then at Senteq, before moving into pre and post sales at Mercury IT and Dimension Data.

Prieto holds an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University (UK).

"With my experience, I look forward to contributing to further supporting the sales team and ultimately supporting our customers together with our channel partners through the challenges they face today when it comes to IT operations management," he said.
