    Dow Jones gains as lower bond yields boost tech stocks

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 65.7 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 34,459.32.

    Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Tuesday, buoyed by gains in technology-related mega caps as inflation worries ebbed and US bond yields eased for the fourth straight day.

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 65.7 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 34,459.32. The S&P 500 rose 11.9 points, or 0.26%, at the open to 4,208.07, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 66.4 points, or 0.49, to 13,728.04 at the opening bell.
