Lizzo Carries 'Protect Black People' Purse While Out for Dinner

Lizzo matches her hair to her lavender dress while stepping out for a party on Sunday night (May 23) at the popular restaurant Catch LA in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old “Truth Hurts” singer was spotted carrying a purse that said “Protect Black People” on it.

A few days ago, Lizzo took to TikTok to celebrate working out in shorts for the first time.

“Stop the presses. Everybody, stop the f***ing presses,” Lizzo said in the clip. “I’m working out in shorts.”

“Now let me tell you, I was always too insecure to work out, or not insecure, but too self-conscious to work out in shorts,” she said. “But today I’m working out in shorts… Not much has changed physically about myself. But a lot has changed here, mentally, here, emotionally. I accept myself.”
