Chhattisgarh witnessing steady decline in Covid cases
In the last one week, there has been an increase of about 5 percent in the recovery rate. Efforts to prevent the spread of corona infection are also going on vigorously.
Chhattisgarh has been witnessing a steady decline in Covid cases. The test positivity rate in the state has come down to less than 6 percent.
With improvement in the situation of corona infection in Chhattisgarh, the number of patients getting recovered is also increasing steadily. The state’s average recovery rate has now risen to 92 percent.
In the last one week, there has been an increase of about 5 percent in the recovery rate. Efforts to prevent the spread of corona infection are also going on vigorously.
Medicines kits are being distributed by the Health Department to suspected patients in rural areas. So far, the medicine kit has been made available free of cost to about 17 lakh people who had symptoms of corona infection.
Meanwhile, in view of the increasing cases of Mucormycosis in the state, the state government has declared it as a notifiable disease.
Now it has been made mandatory for all the hospitals in the state to inform the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the concerned district about any case of black fungus.
