40-yr-old man brutally murdered by his friend in Palghar

Palghar, May 24 (UNI) A 40-year-old man was allegedly brutally killed by his friend over suspicion over the illicit relations in Nalla Sopara town of the district.
An offence under section 302 of Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Tulnj police station
The body of victim, Rahul, was sent to the government hospital for postmortem.
The victim was found lying in a pool of blood at the residence of the accused, Sandeep Sahu.
The victim was hit by hammer and later stabbed with a kitchen knife by the accused, injuring him .
Sahu is currently absconding and no arrest has been made so ar in this connection, sources added.
