TSE owner extends financial assist

Owner of The Sangai Express, Nishikant Singh Sapam extended financial assistance to Khalsa Aid India Charitable Trust (KAICT) in acknowledgement of their genteel act of donating 30 oxygen concentrators for Covid patients in Manipur.
The 30 oxygen concentrators donated by Khalsa Aid India Charitable Trust (KAICT) for Covid patients in Manipur were handed to Primal Care Manipur (PMC), during a simple function at Thangal Bazar today.
It is said that KAICT had dispatched 50 oxygen concentrators to the State.
While 30 of the oxygen concentrators were handed to PMC, the remaining 20 have been stowed for use in emergency.
The programme was organised by Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (GPC), Imphal and Punjabi Samaj Manipur (PSM).
At the function, owner of The Sangai Express, Nishikant Singh Sapam, who is intending to contest the upcoming General Assembly election from Keishamthong Assembly Constituency said that he has heard of the work of Khalsa Aid and expressed happiness on seeing the NGO providing humanitarian aid to the people of Manipur.
He lauded the NGO for sending oxygen concentrators for the people of Manipur and extended financial sops to the KAICT.
GPC vice president, Puran Singh apprised that Khalsa Aid is an international NGO providing humanitarian aid around the world.
As a part of their service to mankind, KAICT donated the 50 oxygen concentrators to the State under the aegis of Khalsa Aid International.
Preety Thokchom, partner of PMC, stated that the oxygen concentrators will be given to the poor free of cost, however, the machines will be collected again after use.
