Queen Elizabeth is reportedly "deeply upset" by Prince Harry's claims in his new docuseries with Oprah Winfrey.
In The Me You Can't See the Duke of Sussex opened up about everything from Prince Charles and the royal family's "total neglect" when he asked for help for wife, Meghan Markle, to the fact that he feared losing her as they both battled mental health issues.
"Harry's grandmother has taken this very personally and is deeply upset by what Harry has said, in particular, his comments about Charles's parenting and suggesting his father knows no better because of how he was brought up," a source says, per The Independent. "It has been a very upsetting time."
Prince William is also "very shocked" by Harry's statements over the past few weeks, royal expert Nick Bullen tells Us Weekly. "I'm sure the royal family and the various royal households just want a moment of calm and [are saying], 'Let's not have any more headlines. Let's just have a period when no one's speaking,'" he adds.
A source previously told the publication the queen was "unimpressed" with Harry's interview with Dax Shephard. "It hasn't done their relationship any favours," they said, adding that Princes Charles and William are "livid too".
