The movie features prabhas and shruti haasan in the lead roles and it is funded by vijay kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. The movie will be shot in kannada and telugu and will also release in hindi, tamil, and malayalam languages.


The movie has music composed by ravi Basrur and the cinematography is handled by bhuvan Gowda. kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy is set to play a pivotal role in this movie. The team is confident of releasing the movie on april 14, 2022 as planned earlier. The team is planning to wrap up the shooting by january 2022. As things stand, there is no change in plans for 'Salaar'. shruti haasan already revealed her excitement about joining the team.
