Akzo Nobel cons. net profit rises 37% in Q4; stock ends slightly lower

Sales rose 34.42% to Rs781.35cr in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs581.27cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

Akzo Nobel India net profit rose 37.30% to Rs74.25cr in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs54.08cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

Sales rose 34.42% to Rs781.35cr in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs581.27cr during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

The stock ended at Rs2,256.35 down by Rs9.45 or 0.42% from its previous closing of Rs2,265.80 on the BSE.

The board recommended a final dividend of Rs30 per equity share for the financial year 2020-21.

This dividend will be paid if approved by the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. The total dividend for the financial year aggregates to Rs50 per share, including an interim dividend of Rs20 per share, approved by the Board on 9 February 2021 and paid subsequently.
