Now Sri Lanka is ready to become a Chinese Colony. It all began with the Hambantota Port and now it extended till into the port city of Colombo. These two are the strategic assets and out of these two already one is under the control of china. Now we guess it’s the time for the other also to follow the same path if the government is to have its own way.

The Colombo Port city is the financial zone and is being built just next to Colombo. The most of this Colombo port city is the land which is reclaimed from the sea. Many named it as the next dubai and they are also saying it as a city from the future. This city is completely powered by renewable energy and it consists of financial center, an international island, and a sprawling park situated at the center of it. But then the only problem with this is that it is a Chinese project and also a part of President Xi Jinping’s Belt and road initiative.

Now that beijing is not asking for any sort of partnership in sri lanka, but it also wants an overseas province. With no money in Hands sri lanka lost many in the past to china and now it is about to lose even this as well.
