As cases drop, COVID-19 fatalities continue to rise: 2,22,315 test positive, 4,454 deaths reported in last 24 hours

Even as India's COVID-19 case tally drops to the lowest it has been in several weeks, the death toll continues to rise to record highs. On On Monday morning, India reported 2,22,315 new cases and 4,454 deaths in last 24 hours. As per Health Ministry data, there were also 3,02,544 discharges during this period.
