Youth Brigade IRCS, Senapati sanitizes Senapati town

Senapati, May 23 2021: In a continuous effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the District Headquarters, the Youth Brigade of the Indian Red Cross Society, Senapati district sanitized Senapati town from below the Old District Hospital area to TNK, senapati today.

Speaking to media persons, KL Andrew, Chairman, IRCS, Senapati stated that the Youth Brigade, IRCS, Senapati district has been continuously sanitizing different places in the District Headquarters since last year.

It may be mentioned that the Sodium Chlorite used in sanitizing the town area was reportedly donated by one, Stevenson Golmei of Namgailong Rongmei village in Senapati district.

He appealed to the concerned authority to provide 2-3 vehicles to the Youth Brigade for use in humanitarian services and an ambulance for emergency cases.

KL Andrew further urged the public to provide their assistance and support to the IRCS, Senapati in the fight against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
